I went to go see Death Of A Bachelor back in 2017, and Brendon got sick with laryngitis the week of my show. I expressed my concern to my parents that he might not be able to perform. They quickly tried to reassure me, saying that if he couldn't sing that night, the band would simply find a replacement, and we would watch them instead. And then I started panicking, because if they used a stand-in for Brendon, I wasn't going to see Panic! At The Disco, because not a single official member would be on the stage that night.
