would i be evil if i said that i really dislike how reboot mw took away og ghost's recurring themes of violation and loss of autonomy

#i have a lot to say about this but i'm playing roblox brainrot and can't focus #i think these specific themes are lacking in the reboots and it upsets me because not only are they extremely important to ghost's characte #but it also gives me the idea that they don't want their male characters to be anything other than big buff men #(idk it's just. making ghost 10 times buffer than what he originally was and taking away his constant struggle with loss of autonomy.#entirely taking away soap's storyline with price and his struggles with masculinity. making all of the men big and buff instead of making-#-them slightly diverse body type wise and more realistic like in the og games. it's odd to me that they've removed all of this)#and i know that there's more to the reboot male characters than just 'they're big and buff'#but i feel like so many of their original character traits were taken away because they didn't fit the stereotypical idea of-#-what men should be like #does that make sense??? i hope it does #sorry i'm just saying shit #brenno yaps #brenno's posts #i think i did some insane mental hoops i really hope this makes sense LMAO #delete later maybes

was replaying mw2 reboot and just finished the countdown mission, still wondering how people call soap 'stupid' and 'incompetent' as if he didn't collect scraps to make bombs and weapons out of them and disarm a missile while actively being hunted down by soldiers
