Well well well it's August again so it's time to celebrate #brewsterthedoge. This month we will be marking his 7th year in life & our 6th year together. He is the best fucking dog to ever exist. He's the perfect little spoon. He has a hidden snaggle tooth & a lazy eye. We've been through one divorce and a few break ups and one lovely year of marriage to his favorite mayn @pmacdonaldtattoo. We've lived in 6 homes and 2 states & taken one cross country plane ride together. He sleeps in my lap when I drive. He only eats dinner once the whole family is home. He's had 2 near death experiences & thousands of dollars in vet bills. His cuteness is unbearable and his bullshit meter is on point. His portrait is tattooed on my body forever & his hashtag is out of control. He pays extra close attention when you call him "BMoney". He did a really great job licking my face whilst I cried on my kitchen floor during 3 stressful years of grad school. He doesn't hide his bias when picking sides when I bring him to couples therapy sessions with my clients. He gets really REALLY excited when you say the words "porky chomp" so much so that we have to abbreviate it to PC. But now he's learning that too. He tucks his tail between his legs when he runs REALLY fast. Which he does a little less now. This year he has further grown a distinguished gray beard. He has no time for your shit if you are a Boxer or Great Dane. If he ever dies (which I doubt he ever will) I might die too but I'm pretty sure we'll live forever. Happy birthday Brewster. I love you an embarrassing amount & I cried when writing this post as I ALWAYS DO. You are one of the best things in my life. 🎂🐶💘
