The one good thing about being surrounded by kind people is that they are all damn good cooks.
Chuckling to himself Mal grabs another cookie of the platter.
Those two kings may be annoying as all hell, especially when that other one tries, in vain, to get you to stop wrecking whole planets whole, but that they always have cookies and tea ready is really the only reason Mal tolerates them. Even the crueler one is just obnoxious with his talks about duty, and he won’t even share any good stories of slaughtering people! He must have killed thousands, but will he share those delightful screams.
The cookie is quickly bitten in half and crumbling. Uncooperative people are soooo annoying… Though they so also prize children as much as he, so that’s one thing they can talk about. The cute sweet, pure faces of young children… even if they are child murderers.
He was oblivious to the short goblin that came in, decked out in her heavy armour. Much more interested in enjoying the tea and cookies the lounge room is always stocked with.
