I would be pissed if my brother stole my diary too but way to make your 10 year old brother feel like he really fucked things over. Not to mention had Yumi really been lost at sea in that episode, the boy would've had to have that weight on his shoulders for the rest of his life and carry so much guilt and baggage cause no closure ever happened. Also who the fuck carries their top secret diary to school.

unpopular opinion: i've always been more of a bigger fan of the rosaries and glaives in okami over the reflectors, trinity mirror is my least fave and i love every single glaive's design

jk, I also favored rosaries and glaives for a long time! They’re much more dynamic and interesting to fight with. In the last few years I found myself settling into mostly reflector/reflector fighting styles, though. I found that rosaries were too hard to control and I kept ruining opportunities to use Floral Finishers. Reflectors offer a balanced hit compared to glaives, and as a sub-weapon I’ve come to rely on their shielding ability for defense and extra Demon Fangs. However, depending on the fight, I still often switch out to rosaries if I need ranged attacks, or glaives if I’m dodging attacks a lot so I can charge up my attack in the meantime. I never do subglaives because they’re hard but I love the hoverboards of death

trinity mirror is one of my favs because it’s purple and it has a cool name. but like, every weapon is my fav. Except for Eighth Wonder, which I find ugly.

Seven Strike and Infinity Judge are my top favorites, with Blade of Kusanagi and either Divine Retribution or Resurrection Beads afterward. Infinity Judge has a rad animation and looks like it was made by the Moon Tribe or the ancient civilization. Seven Strike is just gaudy as hell and I love it. Snarling Beast is one of my least faves but it gets points for being a spiky dharmachakra with cannons.
