There is a kind of buzz that will fill the night. There being wet streets with streetlights reflecting off of them, all damp from ground to the top of tree branches and tall windows with no rain in sight. A cold running over Balder's shoulders while he smiled to himself on his stroll.
Tall, slender, dark under light and comfortable in shadows while things followed him with bones that curl and follow each step while something writhed inside their ribcages. A flash of a car's headlight passes Balder, the vehicle immediately swearing quickly away from him after it got the reflective white of collective gazes being behind him, then gone at a glance of a rearview mirror. The driver will, sadly, see them again after they fall into a deep sleep.
This street has felt cracks, screams and stains washed away. He rubs the tips of his fingers, eyes glancing towards an apartment building that wasn't too far from the street. There will be windows gazing perfectly to his direction, and there he can hear the quiet breaths of sleep leaving one's lips. One of the gazes behind him vanished, crawling up the crevasses like a desperate spider and intrudes inside. Another dream for a Nightmare to gift.
