Good luck - Peter Kavinsky
(Y/n) was getting her knee wrapped before her volleyball game. She was told by her doctor that she had patellar tendinitis, which means the tendons around her knee has microscopic tears that irritates easily. The doctor recommended taking at least a week off, but as captain and middle blocker she couldn’t do that.
Stepping out of the athletic trainers office with her knee wrapped and her brace on (Y/n) ran into Peter. Peter immediately grabbed (Y/n) hands to calm her pre-game jitters.
“Hey, what’s up with your knee?”
“I just messed it up a bit.”
Peter was confused as to why she was acting like it was no big deal when he could see the worry in her eyes.
“I think if you’re in there, something is wrong so please tell me babe.”
“I’m not actually supposed to be playing, but my coach thinks that as long as I do and time icebag on my knee everything should be fine.”
“She should be encouraging doctors orders.”
She said it was my decision ultimately. I’m just worried that if I do too hard it will mess my knee up further.
“You can’t sit out just once?”
“This games important, it’s our rivals team, plus I’m captain and my coach is depending on me!”
Peter sighed. (Y/n) heard the scoreboard buzz signaling that the game is going to start soon.
“If your knee hurts make sure you come out, okay?”
(Y/n) nodded her head and let go of his hand.
“I’ll meet you at our spot after the games. I love you.”
(Y/n) walked away a before there traditional good luck kiss and Peter wasn’t having that. Peter grabbed her waist and spun her around. One hand was on her cheek while the other was still on her waist. He dipped his head to meet her lips in a slow passionate kiss.
“I love you and good luck.”
(Y/n) gave Peter a cheesy smile and thumbs up.
“(Y/n) get over here now!”
She turned around and and darted towards the huddle that she needed to lead. Peter heard the familiar chant of there team and decided to take his seat.
I’m proud of the boys. This album is going to bring big things to them and it’s just the beginning. They’ve been traveling the world, were up for a Teen Choice Award and a VMA, and they are still doing more. The next couple of years will bring new limelights and and new adventures an trials for them and I can’t wait to be here for it all!

listening to inquisition banter and I feel like dorian/blackwall should have been the default non-inquisitor ship. the snarky banter that warms into mutual respect/friendship. both of them "asking around the tavern" if either romances the inquisitor. why would you do that if you weren't crushing on the other party and lamenting that someone else swooped in when you were too busy being angry abt the crush you have on them to make a move and now you lost your chance?
their banter *almost* makes me want to write fanfiction. I won't, but... many thoughts. head full.
