Saya gets the call as she's leaving the cemetery on Christmas morning. It's the first time she's heard from in in months, with the exception of the letter she found on their son's grave earlier that day. She should have expected something like this, given how far he's sank since the prior year. She is his next of kin after all, separation and different living arrangements be damned. She doesn't think she has it in her to show up at the hospital again, to see him in him prone in bed, attached to those machines. She barely hears anything the surgeons are tell her; he's has more gun shot wounds that no one should have survived, but here he is, lungs expanding, heart pounding in his chest.
I thought silent night was my favorite movie I’ve seen all year. It makes me sad to see that a lot of people don’t like it
God, I can't believe I had to watch Joel Kinnaman die twice this holiday season.
