Well, then you would be wrong, Anon. I AM friendly with everyone who approaches me or follows me, until they f*ck me over, troll me, or become annoying. BIF aka Brian In Finance has done NONE of those things. And I KNOW who they talk to, I'm not blind. BIF and I DMed each other from the start, right when BIF started their account. We talk. I asked them about themselves and their associations and I'm cool with what they told me. I appreciate you reaching out and trying to look out for me, but I guess the independent me gets a bit annoyed that people would think that after 7 years in the fandom and ALL the bullshit I've seen, that I would be some clueless, naive lamb easily fooled. Trust me, my eyes are WIDE open to most things going on around me. My motto is: You be cool with me and I'll be cool with you. When you stop being cool to me, I stop being cool to you. Simple.
If I ever saw BIF saying something awful about Sam, Cait, Tony, etc or me, then Brian would go bye bye aka blocked. Again, that hasn't happened, nor do I expect it to. People have their reasons for talking to certain bloggers, I give them the benefit of the doubt, IF they're cool with me. And BIF has been.
Also, on a separate but related topic, I have A LOT of Shippers following me. I don't automatically block them. I WANT them to see the TRUTH. And the same principle applies to them. They can keep following me unless they f*ck me over, troll me, or become annoying. I'm not a big believer in the different factions of this fandom "staying in their lane." I think that breeds division, misinformation, isolation, and generally bad feelings. I think people should intermingle and TALK. Anyone is welcome in my lane and once in while, I like to veer into other lanes, but again, don't be a d*ck, and we'll be just fine.
