AUAUGBGGRGGHGGHNOOOOOOOOOOO NO NO I BAD!!!!!!!!!

I dislike it heavily .

The intro 2 lines have potential & we tie into the album theme [not that the album theme is carried across many of the other songs] but downhill fast ! Maybe it's a personal thing but the syntax of splitting the sentence sounds thoughtless to me, like a first draft. We also don't get a rhyme for the first line, furthering this. Sometimes breaking sentences [or even words] works fine but in a radio oriented track it just feels. underworked. Thoughtless.

This goes into the prechorus which honestly could be pretty good , but it does not fit with the rest of the song. Different intonation with little effort to tie it in. Not working so well in my mind . It is nice on its lonesome but does not feel like the rest of the song .

The chorus also seems underworked. Very simple, I don't feel much thought was put into the words. It just states one thing a couple times with a small bank of words. Don't get the teatime line either, maybe it means something I don't know about though. Either way , feels like it was only written to rhyme.

I love the line "I'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror" but . use it somewhere better , where the other lyrics can at least complement it. It is wasted here , an obvious singular hook which does not serve any other purpose than to very loosely base the rest of the song around .

Verse 2 I hate. It just . the song has all this potential to be fantastic but it feels so weightless , much like a very watered down philosophy . "Pierced though the heart but never killed," again , great line , but doesn't fit because no thought into the rest of the lyrics .

Prechorus 2. ableism. slay. Again does not fit well. The finality "life will lose all its meaning for the last time" goes well with the theme but the syntax misses.

The bridge is funny. Don't think it necessarily needs to be unless we're taking on a more sarcastic & even self-destructive tone, but . no matter what we're going for we did not get it. So. it's fine, just fine, like the rest of the song is just fine as a radio hit.

Bridge chorus. Not a fan. Could've been cool if we worked the music in better. We did not. Amen.

Final chorus, same thoughts. Don't think the line "It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero" accomplishes as much as we want it to. Something more sarcastic & upset [assuming we want the theme the bridge had] would've been nice throughout, but alas.
