I didn't play it, but is Nexus Pets still going to be up? I just don't want to see all of your hard work on both sites be lost to bad luck.
Unfortunately, no. Both projects will be closing, as BriarHaven had higher priority for completion.

thanks for stealing my money as well as everyone else's then lying about it saying it wasn't your fault, real classy assholes.
I am currently offering refunds if you so wish! As described in the post, you can request a refund by emailing [email protected] and telling me which email you donated under.
Thank you for your original support, and I am sorry I could not complete the site as all of us hoped.
This is not a post I wished to make until all of the needed funds had been earned, but due to accusations of theft it seems I must do so prematurely.
Briar Nexus is shutting down.
I want you all to know that this was never, ever the path I wanted the site to take. It is something that was and still is very dear to my heart, as I still believe there is a need for a protected space on the internet for those who need it. However, due to the multiple hiccups the site has had throughout production and the extended delay, as well as additional funds being lost out of pocket when a hired coder broke contact without providing any work, it is something I must do.
There are currently no funds remaining from the original fundraiser, and the site is not coming. However, I do wish to give refunds to those who desire them, as I still deeply value the contributions made to the project in the beginning even if the site did not come to fruition. Due to the lost funds, I would like to request that those who wish to have refunds contact me through email at [email protected] from the email you donated with (if possible - if not, please contact me with whichever email you are currently using and I will do whatever I can to verify). Refunds will not be immediate, as I will be sending them out as I have the money; again, I wished to do this once the refunds could be immediate.
I thank all of you for your continued support through the project’s run, and I am incredibly sorry I could not provide the site you all deserve to have. I hope that all of you can find a community where you feel safe and happy, no matter where that community may be.
Thank you, and again, I am so sorry that the site was not completed.

*crickets chirping* Oh no worries, it's just been about a year since you were funded. You're still not bothering to post regularly on your page to let people know how your money is being spent and you get snippy and immature whenever anyone points out that you stole over a thousand dollars from teenagers and young adults on the internet. I feel bad for the folks that funded you. It's clear that you don't have the honesty or interest in delivering the product you promised.
As we have stated before, there are few updates to post because progress has been far, far slower than we intended and expected. This, again, does not mean we have scammed people and, again, does not mean we do not intend on creating the site. That it has taken so long is disappointing and unexpected for all involved, but does not mean we are giving up completely.
We are thankful for the extended patience all of our followers have shown and we would like to repeat that should we stop production (which we do not plan to) we would alert all of you and offer refunds.
Hello! About the mods that will watch the site 24/7,have you tried recruiting people from different timezones?
Hello! We are planning to do more recruiting once the site is closer to being live- but yes- recruiting from a wide span of time-zones is our ultimate plan. We currently have staff that wish to be mods on the actual website that are from time-zones spanning from GMT to GMT -7 (I believe, there may be others but I do not know every staff member’s time zone). Thanks for your question, have a good day!-Mod Fourd
Hey guys! I’m so sorry about not being around for a week and a bit, things have not been going very well for me personally. I have been swamped with work and as soon as that started getting better I had to deal with a loss, so I haven’t really been in a state to be managing this. To my luck there’s not been many questions that have come in over this period in comparison to usual, I’m very sorry about this silence, and I’m verry sorry I didn’t warn you all I would be gone for this length of time. Thank you for your everlasting patience, I will return to answer questions and provide an in depth update by the weekend, though I will try my best to get it done beforehand! I hope you have all had a wonderful start to your year, and that everything is going well! -Mod Fourd
Hey guys, gals, everyone in-between or otherwise!
I just wanted to point out there will be some days I simply cannot be online due to personal circumstance. So, please, if you’ve sent in an ask and it isn’t replied to, or you see the blog is inactive for a day or so, I’m not ignoring you all- I’m either very busy, have been dragged off somewhere in the real world, or my mental state isn’t good enough for me to be working on this blog. Apologies for when that happens and do bare with me! I hope you are all having a wonderful new year so far, may it be a good year for you all. -Mod Fourd
will there be some tags you HAVE to tag if the post contains it? like gore, nudity, nsfw, flashing images (epilepsy triggers) or eyestrain, holes and other tryophobia-related material, bodyhorror, vomit, etc? because personally i think there should be a few tags that are required like the ones i mentioned, like, just basic triggers and things that in general can be very gross or upsetting
Yes! We will be encouraging the use of the tag system as much as we can so that everyone is kept as safe and comfortable as possible! There will also be the option to suggest extra tags for the original post (the original tags are the tags that will be used to “block” a post from appearing on your feed). These tags are automatically accepted but notify the original poster so they can edit them, HOWEVER, if tags are continuously removed, then by contacting a mod they will be able to place the removed tag as a permanent tag onto the post that cannot be removed, as long as, of course, it actually relates to the original post.In our FAQ on the site we will have suggestions for things that you should always tag if you are aware, and those which you have suggested are some of those. Also, to note, in relation to the flashing images, the site will have an option in settings, or when setting up your account to disable (or possibly freeze) all GIF format images which should help with the issue for those who suffer from very sensitive epilepsy or other moving image/light triggered conditions. Thanks for the question!-Mod Fourd
