Doing a one sentence challenge over on dreamwidth. The prompt was "Rose"

"Latha Màthair sona agad, momma," he tells the faded memorial as he lays down two roses as red as the bow around them, "Killer wasn't feeling so great, so its just me this year," he went on to explain before gently placing a second pair, this one tied in blue: "If you see his momma, can you make sure she gets these; I'd take them myself but we never did find her...."
