JUNE THEME: I’TS MAGIC! 🪄

Magic shapes our dreams and desires. Science was once magic, and it is often inspired by magic. There is a very blurry line between what's impossible and what is still not discovered.

Take chemistry, it is a very complex science/magic. Get the right ingredients, in the right amount at the right temperature and voila! You can make bread, or an explosion! Our curiosity starts when we are little and we play with anything that we have around us. Who did not put food into the glass of water? or chocolate into food?

Like our little witch's daughter, who wakes up at midnight, borrows her mama's hat and starts mixing all the shiny bottles she could find. At least this time is only a oxplosion of light and smoke!

RULES:

• We want to see something related to magic

• Brick built elements on your photos would be great, but it’s not necessary

The Mysterious Ooze

For the second reminder for this month’s activity, I have created a space scene. On a distant space station, a hardworking technician responds to a support ticket about unusual malfunctions in the lighting and ventilation system. She finds strange slime dripping from the electrical system. What could it possibly be?

As you can see I’m doing a crossover genre with mystery and science fiction here. Is the slime from the supernatural? Space aliens? Supernatural-space aliens? Mystery lends itself to many themes, and can make some fun stories.

At the end of the month, I will pick the winners and select the finalists for the community vote. All entries will be judged based on technical skill and creativity.

For the final reminder for this month’s activity, I have created the classic museum heist: A warning has been sent from museum curators from many parts of the world. Gems in their collections have been verified that they’ve been replaced with fakes, yet no one knows when or by whom they were taken.

APRIL THEME:Music in me

April is ending and I got the last reminder of our theme for this month. “Music in me” is the main topic for this month. A lot of you submitted great examples that you are feeling the vibe, thank you all for that. 

This little fella definitely has music in his heart, no hard day at work, no task too difficult, no fish too heavy, no distance too long. Just doing his thing all day long singing his song you think “one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish” or “How much is the fish”? Anyway music in him is for sure.

Quick remainder of this month theme

Imagine these hard months and years spent in NASA training center, all this spins, 9G and all these breakfasts that end up… never mind. But you made it, you are an expert, you are going into the big unknown working with the best of the best. You got your plans with you and the rest of the crew… well got other priorities, Metallica, System of a Down, Blink 182. Space aint gonna go anywhere, right?  

Music in me, that is this month's theme, I am waiting for photos that have this flow and make you wanna sing… even in space.

Hello everybody, welcome to March!

In this month I want to share with you my other passion: Gaming. What is gaming for you? Is it something you do with friends? Is it something you do with strangers? Is it something you do alone?

I would love for you to think about what gaming means to you and capture a moment of it. However you perceive it, however you see it.

Nowadays, almost everyone has had a taste of it: on the phone, on a laptop, gaming console… You could even go analog and show me how you enjoy boardgames or RPGs! And if you are not a gamer yourself, think about friends and family, I'm sure you know someone who is a gamer.

You may also build scenes of a game you love (real or not), but remember, originality is a key factor!

This month's theme is #bc_gaming

For me gaming started a long time ago, even before Lego stole a place in my heart. It began in stuffy rooms full of neon lights and weird smells, counting how many coins I had left and how could I make the most of it!

Here are the guidelines:
