BRIDGEMONT TASK 003; start a little trouble
It’s reached that odd time of year where nobody really knows what to do with themselves. Christmas has come and gone and now we’re all awkwardly tapping our watches as we wait for New Year’s Eve to come around so we can all toast to a swift and painful death of 2016.
That said, we feel like we should pack as much drama as we can into the remaining days left.
This task encourages just that -- we’d like you to plot at least one dramatic plot for your character. That can either be a solitary event, something isolated to them and the NPCs in their life, or it can involve other characters, too. That’s all up to you. Feel free to post plotting calls into the task tag so that other players can reach out to you if you need another character for a plot you’re after.
Make sure to note down somewhere the plot that you’ve sorted, perhaps as an edit onto your original plotting call, so that we can see what kinds of mischief you’re all going to get up to!
In case you’re a little short of ideas, here are some things that your characters could get up to:
Sleeping with an unlikely person and the awkward aftermath of that. This could be a friend’s crush, sibling, partner. It’s up to you! The bigger, the more scandalous, the better.
Host a party that gets out of hand after online advertisements. Think something along the lines of Project X.
Try a drug for the first time. Good or bad consequences could ensue.
Have a drunken argument with their friend, partner, parent, you name it.
Get arrested for a petty crime.
Go joy riding.
Go all or nothing in a high stakes poker game. Maybe they could even run off with the winnings if they lose out and end up owing some scary people.
Drunkenly send out a nude on a mass text instead of to the person they intended it for.
Impulsively confess their love for someone.
Bump into their first love for the first time in years and start acting out as a result.
Rob a store to afford to pay off a debt they owe.
Somehow strike up a ‘fake dating’ arrangement for the sake of saving face or making someone jealous.
Stay over in a house they’re being paid to house sit and get trapped hiding in the closet when the family come home early.
Scam an all expenses paid weekend out of rich businessmen by stealing their credit cards at a club.
Get locked in an elevator with someone they don’t get along with or someone they’ve been trying to avoid for some reason.
Break into a carnival and rig the carousel to ride on it at night.
If you’re in need of any other ideas, throw us a message and we’ll do our best to help out. Happy plotting.
Have fun stirring up trouble! Plotting calls can be posted into the #BRIDGEMONT:TASK tag and #BRIDGEMONTTASK003
