I almost didn’t do it. The first time I was all strapped in and ready to go, but the guides kept talking and the more they talked, the more time I had to think about what I was doing, so I bailed.
But then after a little pep talk, I decided to go through with it…letting them know to keep it brief with the talking.
It was an exhilarating experience. My stomach dropped, but that was expected. Surprisingly, the scariest part was waiting for them to pull us back up because we were just dangling over the falls.
