→Studyblr intro:

Hi there! I'm Bri (she/her), and I am new to studyblr :)

I've wanted to do this blog for a while and I finally dared! (≧▽≦), main reason is to motivate myself to improve academically. I used to be an A student before the pandemic but I kind of lost my way, so I'm trying to recover from that.

A little about me: I'm a Venezuelan girl living in Mexico and probably moving to Europe soon. Scorpio, extrovert, and very very dreamy. I'm not a big fan of online school, but I do like to study on my own. I'm currently in high school, enjoy language learning, and like both science and art.

Interests:

Reading, drawing & writing. (I actually have a kind-of-writeblr, @twentythreesuns, which is my main).

Journaling and bullet journaling.

Fantasy, mystery, paranormal and historical fiction.

I'm currently learning Portuguese and Korean. I speak Spanish and English.

In the near future I would like to learn French, Italian and German.

Studio Ghibli & Tim Burton fan.

Space fan, too. I'm actually 99.99% stardust.

My study goals:

A fun fact: a few months ago, on my birthday, I started project on which I based my main goal for 2022, and basically consisted of getting to know myself better. In the academic part it would mean experimenting with the methods, techniques, or routines that work best for me, so that's my main focus. I'd like to use this blog to track that, along with the following goals:

Be more consistent with my study habits.

Organize the time I use to study on my own better.

Be a little more responsible with online classes. Romanticize them, if possible.

Work to feel satisfied with my academic life.

I will mostly be reblogging content, but sometimes I'll also be posting my own: study pics, my plans for the day, lang stuff, journal entries or study updates, etc.

Today I'm having a late night study session. I already prepared myself and organized my space, which feels amazing for me, especially at this time. I also did a little bit of journaling and put on the radio.

To do list for the day (because I don't think I'll finish it all right now):

•math study guide exercises.

•questions from pages 84 to 88 of civics textbook.

•pages 20 and 21 of the math textbook.

•stage one of the technology project.

•spanish quiz.

•watch physics videos (Lewis structure).

•history diagram.

I'm feeling so good today (人 •͈ᴗ•͈). I made a synoptic chart and some notes from my history textbook (it's my favorite class right now, okay?), I checked my Portuguese flashcards and reached my daily goal on Duolingo.

I honestly feel like I did more today than other days, even when I took a lot of breaks and tried to relax a bit (maybe that's why?). So I did a bit of meditation and started watching this kdrama called Melancholia, something I had planned for a while. I even decided to text a friend with whom I had no contact for a long time, and she agreed to help me study!

I reached my daily goal on Duolingo (I'm trying not to look at my current league rankings anymore because it can get a little savage, honestly, and that just makes me tired, I don't want to overdo myself either).

I also finished three of my history assignments and had a study session with my younger sister. We were testing methods and resources, so we had fun.

It was actually a nice day.

07.01.22 // Friday.

I'm satisfied, even if I didn't cross off everything on the list, the day felt productive.

I did a general cleaning of my workspace and studied Portuguese for 30 minutes, which was my main goal for today. Also did a detox on my cell phone and organized school files; how relaxing.

The day is not over yet, so I'm going to do a little bit of journaling and maybe some school related notes.
