The #liminal tag is often used for horror games, not storybook pastoral settings.
What makes Bridgetown "liminal"?
The bridge is 50ft across (about the width of a 4-lane road) It rises out of the foggy depths and goes on forever. Summed up by my favorite quote from the book:
Despite the harsh liminal nature, diverse communities thrive here!
Metal is rare, items are treasured and recycled, space is limited, and folks rely on one another...mostly.
Authoritarian Gatehouses breakup the communities of the bridge and try to exact tolls from travelers.
