Received my latest order from @LostBallparks and, once again, was completely blown away by not only the quality of what I ordered, but the incredibly thoughtful extras included in the shipment. The vintage postcard depicts #BriggsStadium in #Detroit (later, #TigerStadium, of course). It’s postmarked in 1941 and addressed to the @Tigers manager, Del Baker. “Dear Mr. Baker. This picture shows why your present poor standing in the American League. You have no center fielder. Yours very truly, Cal M. Smith. 13733 Hamilton Ave.” Ol’ Cal had jokes!
