Oh HELL NO man. I LOVE the fact the made HG just blatantly and openly bisexual, and so does the entire fandom. And they actually did some really fun stuff with that. The problem lies in that they revealed she was bi back in season 2, when the tension between her and Myka was literally through the effing roof. Watch the show, you’ll see what I’m talking about. They spent the better part of 2 seasons almost setting them up only to back out in a completely gross way. They never queerbaited HG as a character, but they queerbaited the fans big time. Because especially in season 3 they were completely aware of what they were doing. And even in Season 2 they were already aware, because it was initially Jaime Murray’s idea to have HG fall for Myka and Joanne Kelly agreed. So they spoke to one of the writers about it and the writer agreed but then either the show runner or the network did not. Which would be fine and dandy if they hadn’t then written scripts with lines like “how do you say goodbye to someone who knows you better than anyone else” because HG das gay. 

So yeah. Bi HG is everything and is glorious and wonderful and deserves all the love in the world

The thing the show has done with the Bering&Wells relationship, however, can burn in hell

She’s still bisexual even if she’s in a relationship with a dude. It’s not queerbaiting if she’s actually queer.

This was never about HG being bisexual, this was always about the showrunners setting up the potential for a Myka/HG relationship, dropping millions of blatant ‘subtext hints’, and then not following through. The situation at the time was a bit like Clexa - a canonically queer character being set up as a love interest for another character of the same sex, the relationship being dangled in front of us as bait, and then taking it away. Except unlike Clexa these two never got together and unlike Clexa HG never actually died but yeah. It was queerbaiting. It was definitely, absolutely queerbaiting.

In this context it’s a non-too-subtle dig at the Warehouse 13 writers for blatantly queerbaiting their main audience so yes in this context we’re really doing this
