Honestly? It wasn’t something he had been wanting the girl to hear when she had just gotten back from more traveling. Coming home and finding Michael in stitches is one thing; coming home and hearing he’s in the hospital is a whole other story.
At first she had panicked and cried, asking Dante (he had just decided to be called that from now on, make things easier on Silver) why Michael would do that, if he’s okay, etc. etc.
And now here he was, standing in the elevator with her hand in his and her other one holding a wagon full of flowers and origami paper.
Knowing her? The room was going to be up to the ceiling with flower crowns and whatnot after she was done giving the ebony haired male a scolding.
Marius was back, so was Rover. There was a new addition to the team too as far as he understood. And soon Zahra would be back too. He didn't know how to deal with that yet... What to tell her. How to react. It caused a heavy sigh to slip over his lips, closing his eyes for a second before lifting the arm that was in a cast.
Being bound like this. He hated it. As active as he always was. Going from one place to the next. Using parkour to get rid of any extra energy. Always busy.
And now there was nothing. There was a silence he hated, along with the awful hospital scent. The last place he wanted to be at was here.
But hey, what could he do?
