yea me too im just a hairy girl whos bad at makeup
i mean dont get me wrong, i hate makeup & have zero interest in it, & i could remove my body hair but i choose not to. but it still fascinates me that gender is supposed to be immutable & inherent & yet i have to..... perform it? like i have to make an effort to be what im ~naturally supposed to be? meanwhile men can sit there & do literally nothing & let their beards grow out & smell like ass & that makes them MORE manly, but me just existing in my natural state -- despite gender supposedly being essential -- apparently makes me LESS feminine. we see this glaringly magnified for trans women & women of color.
