Born to two rogues, Ray and Dandelion, Honeyberry was brought to the Clans by Ray. It wasn’t until she was four moons old that she decided she wanted to be a medicine cat and five moons that she realized there was a prophecy surrounding her. The young kit was meant to resole the war between DriftClan and MountainClan since the moment she was born.
Her sisters left DriftClan an she was left alone, her only family being Ray. It was lonely. She wasn’t allowed to play with the other kits, as if they’d play with her anyway. Cranberrykit and Polarkit would give her strange looks and snap at her. And, eventually, her father left to be a loner again. She couldn’t bear the sadness.
Honeypaw became apprentice to Silverberry, one of the youngest cats to become a medicine cat in the Clans. Honeypaw had a heavy weight on her shoulders and she was ready to live up to her Clanmate’s expectations. She trained hard and became close friends with the other medicine cats. Silverberry and her were very close, Honeypaw considered her a sister. Then, MountainClan attacked.
Martentail and Cranberrysong lost a kit and, much to Honeypaw’s dismay, Silverberry was killed. Saltsnap was asked to give her her medicine cat named after her mentor. Honeyberry didn’t recover well after her death, but it wasn’t long before Harestar and Songseer decided that it was time for the war to end. Honeyberry was to be loves with MountainClan’s young medicine cat, Lightningcloud.
Despite her fear, Honeyberry knew this was her duty. She knew that, since the moment she was born, she was supposed to end this war.
