Humble Peace
On the edge of the Lake District, high up on a hill, overlooking the Lyth Valley and all the Lakeland fells beyond, is a small church. Welcome to St. John’s Helsington Church! As it was a gorgeous day outside, light flooded into the small church via lots of small stained glass windows. A proper bonny little place in a beautiful setting.

ISO100, ƒ/11 at 14mm (21mm full-frame equiv.) with my Sigma dp0 Quattro. This is a HDR image created from the Sigma’s new SFD (super fine detail) mode: it basically shoots seven exposures automatically and combines them into a single X3I image that contains bags of data. Processed in Sigma Photo Pro, edited in Luminar.
