Hello, Carollers. It's been a while :) Between work and school and life in general, it's been hard lately to get on here like I used to. Don't you guys worry...Carol and Julie are still my babes. That's never changing. I figured since today is Carol's birthday, I should post about how much she means to me. A couple years ago, Carol Burnett was just a name. I knew who she was, but never thought twice about her. Until one day, I clicked on a YouTube video of a little thing called Mama's Rap, and that was it. I was absolutely hooked. My life changed so drastically after finding Carol. I wrote her a letter, I received a handwritten letter back. Last May, I was fortunate enough to see her in person on The Queen Latifah Show (good Lord, those legs). She gave me a sense of direction, in a way. She made me feel like I wasn't ever alone in my struggles. And that, I could never express my gratitude for. However, the one thing I am so grateful to her for is her amazing fan base. Over the last 2 years, I have met and connected with some of the best people I've ever known. oliviaalicia tobewicked, Beth, and BrieAnna (it won't tag you guys and I don't know why) the 4 of you have completely redefined what a best friend is for me. I couldn't have made it through without you weirdos. Singling out my one and only best friend, BrieAnna Makenzie, I am so glad that we met. We both owe it to Carol for our amazing friendship. Thanks for being the most amazing sister, mother, grandfather, brother, best friend, worst enemy, everything. You mean the world to me, Hoebag. I am SO excited for what this year brings for us!! (For those of you that don't know, I'm moving to Alabama in June to be BrieAnna's kickass roommate because we are too broke to live apart and California is too expensive) Basically what I'm trying to say is that Carol, you have changed my entire life. And I couldn't be happier with how it's turned out. Thank you for showing me what a true role model is. Thank you for motivating me when I didn't want to go on. Thanks for always cheering me up and making me laugh. I hope you have a fabulous day because you deserve it. And you don't look a day over 40. Stay hot. And I love you.
