Auntie Is Awesome's Seriously Cool Dollhouse with My Dream Kitchen

Today, our friends at Auntie is Awesome posted about Brinca Dada, the modernist doll house makers that we first saw at the Dwell on Design show last summer. Indeed, their attention to MCM detail is staggering; they do make the miniature dream house I've always coveted. It's got mitered-glass corners, two fireplaces, sliding glass doors, solar panels, and recessed LED lights. Lola and Seymour Chickenpants took a home tour.

After a few days of MCM living this week, tending to the travails of my friend's fabulous house with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views, (and the comic inspiration for my 2010 housesitter project) I'm beginning to believe perhaps the $329 dollhouse is a more realistic way to express my devotion to mid-century structures of glass and wood.

And you've just got to love that kitchen!
