Can’t go to Guildford on a season ticket from Rotherham. However. You can go to London on an annual ticket for the same price as a new car you could use to drive to Guildford, the place the place you actually want to go, and to add insult to injury you have to go via Chesterfield, miles out of the way when using a train from Rotherham, when Sheffield or Doncaster are easy and nearer routes that go directly to London. #bringbackbritishrail @bringbackbritishrail https://www.instagram.com/p/CW-vzsxtZVm9McPXKentURwcHtZy0fPLUsIsgg0/?utm_medium=tumblr

Someone somewhere really needs to do something about this. Rotherham to Guildford. Same day, open return, slightly different routes (ones via King’s Cross, the other by St. Pancras, both needing to change via Waterloo), but will be running the same class of locomotives, with the same amount of crew.
