I know that the owner of the “Canuck and Crow Adventures” facebook page has something to do with Canuck’s disappearance, and it pisses me off to no end. Think about it:

She obviously has serious issues. She’s had a vendetta against Shawn Bergman ever since he rejected her advances, her Facebook page is filled with hate-filled screeds against him, and she accuses him of abusing Canuck, keeping him in his house overnight, and lying about his chicks being born.

She deletes any and all messages from her social media pages which are critical of her and might contradict her.

There are photographs of Canuck in her car on her Instagram page and numerous photos of her luring other crows into her house with food.

Right after Canuck was federally protected, she posted a closeup of his feet with the words “branded forever.” She obviously wants Canuck to be “free,” even if it means separating him from his fellow crows and his human friends.

The last photograph on Shawn’s Instagram page of Canuck was posted at about 3 PM on Friday. She said she saw him around 8 that day, which would make her the last person to officially see him before he disappeared. 

In the week since his disappearance, a few people have reported seeing “a crow with a white band” about 100 miles from Vancouver. Canuck is the only federally protected American Crow and currently wears an aluminum band above his left foot.

Cassiar is still in his old neighborhood and is constantly calling for Canuck. She wouldn’t be doing this he’d been killed by a predator or hit by a car.        

The whole situation is tragic and stinks to high heavens of fowl play. I don’t want to outright accuse this woman but right now she’s my prime suspect if Canuck’s disappearance was human involved. I’m seriously wondering if she lured Canuck into her car, removed his red tag, and released him so far away that Shawn never saw him again.

Examine any and all CCTV footage from 30 Aug in Canuck's known territory.

Canuck, Vancouver’s famous knife-stealing crow, has gone missing. His mate needs him home, and his human needs to know what happened.
