Ah, the glory of summer. A long awaited retreat for those who had found themselves stressed and emotionally defeated by the restless endeavor we call school. For the past few years it has become relatively simple to assume how the summer was going to go about. The remainder of July is generally the hottest part of the summer then it starts to sink into the low 20′s up until August when we get bombarded with rainstorms and temperatures into the negatives. I suppose it was safe to say that I had grown comfortable with this kind of weather and expected it to repeat itself this year...... I was wrong. Let me start by saying that anyone who has an air conditioner is fucking living the high life right now. My room alone is clocking in at almost 50 and the hottest that it got yesterday was 40. If this kind of weather persists I’m gonna end up like a bistro when you put it in the microwave a minute longer than it was intended. Bottom line is this weather needs to fucking stop.
