Upgrading Our Air System

We're making another behind-the-scenes improvement at Lil Wash-n-Go!

We're upgrading the air compressor that powers some of the equipment at the carwash. After years of service from our Porter-Cable compressor, we're moving to an Ingersoll Rand 80-gallon, 5 HP, two-stage compressor.

The new compressor will provide substantially more air capacity than our previous setup, giving us more reserve and helping our pneumatic equipment perform more reliably — especially during busy times.

It's not something most customers will ever see, but upgrades like this are an important part of keeping Lil Wash-n-Go operating smoothly and making sure the equipment is ready when you need it.

A big thank-you to Tri Cities Electric for upgrading the electrical service for the new compressor, Mountain Air Compressors for installing the bleeder valve and piping us into the new system, and Teddy Sams for helping me haul this beast into place!

We're excited to get it up and running and put the new compressor to work.

Meet Our Customers: Joe

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Joe, who stopped by to give his Honda Accord a fresh wash.

Originally from Ohio, Joe later spent several years in Florida before making Tennessee home to be closer to family.

When we asked about his very first car, he smiled and told us it was a Volkswagen Beetle when he was just 16 years old.

These days, you'll most likely find him on the golf course. Joe describes himself as a "city boy," but we're glad he's part of our community here in Tennessee.
