Millions of Brits to start shopping online on Christmas Day - Millions of shoppers predicted to spend more than £200 million online on Christmas Day.
[Australian] Online purchases up 46pc since 2011 - The average number of online purchases by Australians grew 46.2 per cent from 2011 to 2013, and the monthly value of average purchases grew 5.8 per cent, to $218. 2013 has been a year of epic proportions for e-commerce in China, and it’s only set to grow - A report by management consulting firm Bain & Co notes that “the year 2013 will be remembered as the one in which China surpassed the US as the world’s largest digital retail market.” It also observes that the “wildfire-like adoption of digital retailing over the past two years is staggering” in China.
