What starter?

i’m just trying to decide that......... tempted to go with chikorita because she was my very first pokemon starter, but in this house we stan cyndaquil, BUT i have never gone with totodile before..........

Abra can be tough to take care of because of their tendency to teleport seemingly at random. It’s mostly just an automatic defense, but it can still pose problems. They do tend to nest though, and as long as they feel safe in a location you can usually guarantee they stick around most of the time. They also aren’t very sociable until they evolve, so keep that in mind when raising one.

Espurr and Meowstic aren’t very sociable either, but I would say that they are one of the Psychic types that are most suited to domestic life, though they do need meat in their diet in larger portions than other Pokemon. Like other cat Pokemon they can be individualistic, but they’re generally well-behaved and intelligent pokemon.

Drowzee and Hypno get a lot of bad press because of the powerful hypnosis they can induce, but it’s important to note that they are entirely herbivorous (other than the sustenance they get from dreams), generally solitary, and rarely bother people. They can be found close to cities, but it’s generally thought that the large number of sleeping people is what draw them. They will eat the dreams of a sleeping person, but they are generally too timid to enter a busy city or indeed, a home.

Look behind you. What do you see? My laundry basket, pushed up beside my bookshelf, as well as a copy of The Art of Dragon Age: Inquisition lying on the floor beside it.

What is the last animal you saw? Describe it to me! A pigeon with a thousand-yard stare strutting along in the parking lot beside my apartment building. It’s likely “decorating” my windowsill as we speak.

What is the most loyal object you own? Loyal is a trait I’d sooner ascribe to living creatures moreso than the inanimate, but I’ve been using the same Wacom tablet for the last ten years. Impressive for a piece of hardware. I’ve begun to suspect that it’ll outlive me.

Do you prefer to walk or to take the transports? If the weather is agreeable and the surroundings tolerable, I’d sooner walk.

What kind of pie are you? Pumpkin. Fall is when I’m at my best, and the closer to Halloween we are, the more I grin.

If you could only bring one beverage to an isolated island, what would it be? (of course you have water on the island, because water is the only drink we truly need.) Orange juice is a delight. So is tea, but it needs a dash of milk, and I can only bring one potable.

What is the best thing that could happen to you today? Without going into detail on the stressful shite going on chez Erlenwald, somebody coming to me to tell me that the Beast is no more.

Is there a song stuck in your head? I was listening to Dream No More from Metallica’s new album earlier; it tends to stick.

What is the last piece of writing you read? (can be anything, from a book to the back of a cereal box) This question! =P But on a more literary note, I was reading The Calling. It’s a Dragon Age book. I’ve read worse, but I was expecting better.

What movie would you recommend to me? Mm, Pan’s Labyrinth was most impressive, both on a story and visual front. Most fantasy films are pretty crappy, but when you find a gem, you find a gem. This one is one of those. I’ve mentally shuffled it onto my list of nostalgic movies, and I was an adult when I first saw it. Few films have that claim. Watch Pan’s Labyrinth.
