“no, were going to... we’re going to do this i just need you to give me a second to build up some courage.” ginny couldn’t quite believe what she was doing. she couldn’t believe the situation. was she really standing inches away from the school pool in the middle of the night with naomi beside her? they could get into serious trouble for something like this and ginny never got in trouble. ever. letting out a huff, her anxiety ridden expression turned to one of amusement as she let out a nervous laugh. “i can’t believe you convinced me to do this. next thing you’ll be convincing me to go in naked!” she shook her head and looked down at her pyjamas. “i guess underwear would be better than my pjs, at least...”

cue a sigh falling from her naturally pouty lips as she looked at the other female. “listen... i know... i know how insane it sounds... but listen... my aunt asked me to come to thanksgiving to see her and you know none of my family has seen me for years..”, she began. then, aurelia glanced down at the ground briefly before looking back up at the other. “and i told her i had a girlfriend..... listen.. just.. can you just pretend? it’s a free meal! just like... pretend you don’t hate me and it’ll be fine. they don’t know what to expect, i just have to have a girl with me. i can’t tell them we broke up. i just... trust me, okay?”

It’s a clear grumble that leaves the Argonian’s lips, Nor pulling his hood a bit further over his head against the rain as he leaves the general trader. That was two options down with nothing to show for it, and only one more to go. The third option was a bit of a longshot, he had to admit, but Nor might as well attempt it while he was in town. It certainly couldn’t hurt to ask, anyway, the Argonian’s gaze and stride turning towards the local inn. And not a moment too soon if seemed, the rain hitching slightly in intensity as he makes his way up the steps. Before he reaches for the door, however, Nor finds himself pausing. A quick glance down at his feet and a slight shift away, the Argonian stomping the bit of collected mud free of his boots before heading inside.
Thankfully enough for him the tavern is not too busy at this particular time, the assassin pushing his earlier irritation to the side as he heads for the mer. “Ah, Gelaban, good day.” Nor inclined his head slightly, pulling his slightly damp hood away from his face and flicking his cloak a bit tighter around his frame. “I’m hoping you might be able to help me. You see...” An almost apologetic smile is offered up to the Dunmer. “I don’t suppose you have any extra stock of salt you might be able to sell, do you? Both Zaria and Solaf are clean out, and my own stock back home is woefully low.” A slight dip of the Argonian’s head. “I was hoping to do some salmon fishing soon to refill a bit of my larder, but I might have to put that off without the salt to preserve them.”

“Eugh.. I’m fine.”
He slowly pushed himself into a kneeling position, shaking out his hair. The bun he typically wore it in was loose. The piece of leather often used to tie it was nowhere to be found.
Admittedly, this wasn’t the first time he’d gotten hit by a wagon’s protruding luggage.
“I didn’t see it coming.” He sighed, rubbing the back of his head.
“As reassuring as it is to hear you didn’t willingly get run over, I’d still like to check you over if you’d allow it.” Brethyn kneels next to the dazed mer, ignoring the impulses of pain shooting up from his kneecap, and peers down at him in an attempt to find injuries.
“You’ve got quite the nasty knot swelling up back there...”
