BRITTO CHARETTE WINS BEST OF YEAR AWARD

Interior Design magazine’s 2016 BOY award was handed out on December 1st in NYC. We are proud to announce that our newest accessory, PUQUIOS, won in the glass category. More than 2000 entrants from 38 countries vied for the coveted award. 

PUQUIOS is the latest addition to our WASI collection of luxury home accessories and furnishings. Inspired by Nasca wells from Peru’s most mythic landscape, the vessels are a luminescent work of art. 

Designed in Miami by our principals, David Charette and Jay Britto, PUQUIOS is a new exploration in glass that brings a decidedly modern point of view to the WASI collection. The designers chose Epiphany Glass in Detroit to carefully handcraft each piece to their exacting specifications.

PUQUIOS is available in ethereal hues of rose and phosphorescent yellow.

PATTERNED AFTER BEAUTY

Recently, our designers have fielded numerous questions about all things geometry: patterns in flooring and textiles, and symmetry in rooms and landscapes.

And that got us thinking about our FACETA—a geometric pattern collaboration with the esteemed Kyle Bunting that includes handcrafted rugs, mirrors, and stools. In 2013, Jay and David unveiled their FACETA line at ICFF and then were thrilled to have a mention in the NYT when designer Eve Robinson installed one of their rugs in her KIPS BAY SHOWHOUSE living room.

The designers also created gorgeous stools and mirrors that are handcrafted and available in custom colors. FACETA’s mesmerizing patterns have been installed in many luxury residential designs and have received wonderful media attention.

IT’S HERE!

You’re looking at the latest and greatest in 3D printing. Our new FORMLABS 3D printer has arrived and we want to give you a sneak peek as we learn how to use this cutting-edge technology.

This desktop printer has found a new home in our Miami office. But the technology enables us to design and send images to our office and vendors in Lima where our furniture and accessories are handcrafted.

Our designers take their ideas from sketches to computer renderings to 3D products in a matter of hours.

Eye candy for design geeks...

And with a push of that little button, the resin is poured and the magic begins...
