Name: "Bread"
Age: 48
Nationality: Jordanese
Hair Color: Dark brown
Skin Color: Brown
Eye Color: Bronze
Romanticality/Sexuality: Straight, unknown
Backstory: Born in Jordan, "Bread" is the sole survivor of a bombing that landed on her neighborhood. She spent much of her youth wandering about and trying to make a living for herself. She found peace in creating art wherever she got the chance, finding beauty in the smallest of details to distract her from the world around her.
In 1999, Bread survived yet a second bombing associated with the Millennium Plot, though she wasn't as lucky as the first time and became trapped under debris. She spent a full day waiting for rescue and praying the wrong people wouldn't find her before she was rescued by a group called Durah Cell, which later renamed themselves the Elite Crew. With nothing better to do and nowhere else to go, Bread chose to join the Elite Crew.
In the wake of the Millennium Plot planned bombings, the Elite Crew continued their own operations across the Middle East. It was here Bread's love for art expanded. She picks up a few odd-end jobs to earn some money and buy art supplies for herself, which she tends to use on her MAC-10. Her sharp eyes for color become a blessing for the Elite Crew when she could identity the slightest of changes between colors, discerning fakes from real. She also loves money because it means she can buy things. Her warm and motherly personality lands her in well-paying gigs, and her teammates give her the codename "Bread" because she's the primary money earner.
I named a default CODM operator and created an OC based off him. Later, I found out that default operator was in BO2. Because of that, Sim exists in two different versions, one for CODM and one for BO2.
Name: Sim MacCallen
Nationality: Scottish-American
Age: 32
Height: 5'5”
Eye color: Grey
Hair color: Grey
Skin color: fair
Romanticallity and Sexuality: Aromantic, Demisexual
Prop: His glasses and compression gloves
Shared Backstory:
As far as Sim remembers, he’s always wanted to become a sailor. He’s dreamed of building his own boat and sailing around the world with it, imagining what it would be like to live on the seas. Sadly, his dream will have to wait as he duties as a soldier come first. Not that he minds being a soldier too much. If he’s not on the field or busy with other jobs, Sim likes spending his time in the training room, honing his vision and gun skills along, and will often have competitions with his friends. He never wins, unfortunately.
CODM
Sim doesn’t really have a proper backstory. He’s part of a scientific research experiment after the CEOs of the Isolated battlefield began to lose popularity as a form of entertainment for those who weren’t actively participating on the ground. Much of this had to do with participants dying from severe gunwounds despite the advanced medical technology the Isolated arena boasted.
Research strove to create a perfect Synthetically Simulated Android (or Sim for short) with a learning AI in hopes of replacing live participants, and in the middle of the experiments, Sim#10.01.20.19 was born. His memories were composed of movies stitched together and edited to make it seem like he was here in hopes of supporting his sister with a struggling family. From his initial tests, he should have been the perfect soldier save for his knack for breaking objects that were supposed to be durable. However, when the learning AI was fully implemented, three programming errors arose and were never really fixed. Two of them were physical attributes: his dead grey eyes and incomplete fingertips. The last was a mental part: the inability to mercilessly play the battle royale game without hesitation nor grief over who he was shooting. Sim was given glasses and gloves and told they would help cover up the physical imperfections, which he is very self-conscious about. He’s told to spend time in the training room to build his battle confidence.
Sim doesn’t know he’s not actually a human, however he does start to question his identity when he and Jamie Engles meet and he realizes he doesn’t have a last name, nor does he remember signing a liability form when entering the arena. He discovers he’s an android when he and Jamie decide to uncover the secretes behind the people running the deadly Isolated arena. The two break into the research facility of the Isolated arena and find Sim’s programming plus upcoming Sims meant to replace the real contestants. It’s a devastating blow to his perception of reality, and it takes a while for Sim to wrap his head around the truth.
Reluctantly, he accepts his new identity and works with Jamie to expose the truth behind the arena, which has held its contestants captive for so long. Unfortunately, shutting down the Isolated arena means Sim will also cease to exist after he realizes he’s specifically built to only run inside the arena. It’s a gamble he agrees to in exchanging for freeing the thousands of participants, and one he eventually has to convince Jamie to also take.
BO2
Growing up on the streets of San Francisco, Sim MacCallen and his twin sister Elise spent lots of time at night down by the piers watching the boats to escape their reality. Their mother passed away at childbirth and their father refused to work, leading the family to homelessness within a year. When Sim was 8, his father also passed away, leading the two siblings to care for one another. They got lucky and had a fellow homeless family take them in and teach them basic academic knowledge.
Sim was considered basically blind as he was unable to stand the bright light during the day without extreme eye pains and headaches. Often he would become anxious during the day and developed a habit of gnawing on the tips of his fingers to calm himself, which eventually lead to infections. Sim’s hands were often wrapped up in whatever cloth the two could find to stop him. He was perfectly fine during the night, and developed a nocturnal schedule which he spent typically scavenging for food and supplies. As for Elise, she worked odd day jobs in hopes of earning enough to pull the two out of their situation, but it never was enough to keep up with the city prices.
When Sim tried to join the military in hopes of earning some money to pull Elise out of homelessness, he was diagnosed with dyschromotopsia, a mild form of total color blindness, and rejected. A few pickpockets at night scraped him together enough money to visit an eye doctor where he was given special red tinted glasses to help him see during the day. Sim passed his physical inspection the second time, even if just barely, and spent the next few years training and learning academics. The whole process is a grind, especially the academics part where he had only a 2nd grade education at most. Sim didn’t sleep much during this period, always playing catch-up to his peers. He graduated from City College of San Francisco with a degree in electronics.
He made for a low average field soldier, but was extremely useful with electrical engineering, especially in low lit areas. Sim was commissioned as a J-SOC VTOL mechanic as the dim environment inside a dormant VTOL was the perfect environment for him to work quickly in. He met Jamie Engles when working on her VTOL and she refused to leave him alone, convinced he would screw up her VTOL like the last mechanic. Thankfully, he didn’t, and she befriends him, becoming one of the few people that doesn’t judge his intelligence based on his street accent.
Name: Ashleigh Lacoste
Nationality: Canadian
Age: 16
Height: 5'3"
Eye color: Brown
Hair color: Brown
Skin Color: Black
Romanticallity and Sexuality: Straight, asexual
Prop: Her wheelchair
Backstory: Born the second daughter, Ashleigh grew up in a fairly good household, spending much of her childhood playing or fighting her sister, Hera. She loves coding, and taught herself how to do basic hacking. She also has a weird ability to withstand heat, and would often receive burns because she wouldn't realize until far too late. When her mother passed away when she was 13, her father fell into a downward spiral and money became tight as alcohol became the main purchase. Though he still took care of his daughters, finding a job became impossible and finally, when Ashleigh was 16, he sent the girls away, realizing there was no stability left in the house and fearing he might hurt them, as angry outbursts were becoming more frequent. Recently graduated Hera was 19 and could make it on her own with Ashleigh in tow while their father worked to fix his drinking problem.
Please note Ashleigh is originally a CODM OC but because she is part of a trio of OCs, she’s also part of BO2. Therefore, there are two alternatives to her story.
CODM
Ashleigh and Hera joined the battle royale arena, Isolated, in hopes of earning a little money for their father's treatment through winning the game. On the first day in the field, Hera fell down a missile launch tube, severely injuring herself, and leaving Ashleigh to take care of her as they navigated the battlefield. However, while resting, they became the victims of duo squad Sim MacCallen and Jamie Engles. Timing was not on their side and the girls lined up, allowing for Sim to shoot both with a single bullet, nailing Hera in the head and Ashleigh between T12 and L2 of her spine. Hera dies while Ashleigh becomes paralyzed from her waist down.
Advanced medicine allows Ashleigh to walk with crutches or leg braces but it’s extremely painful and she doesn’t do it often unless she’s heavily drugged on adrenaline during her operations so she can’t feel pain. Ashleigh spends many her operations hidden in the laser wall meant to move soldiers towards a central zone as she doesn’t have to move as much nor quickly, and can take long range fights by hacking her enemy’s equipment.
BO2
Hera joined the army in hopes of some government help for her father’s treatment. Ashleigh wasn’t supposed to follow because she was too young, but neither girl wanted to be truly separated and utilized Ashleigh's ability to withstand heat, earning her a spot in the military as a test subject. Ashleigh would wield and wear various materials and technology to help test for functionality in intense heats. She also warned herself a reputation for hacking the comms around the base, and though it nearly kicked her out of the military (her saving grace being her heat tolerance too valuable to just let go), she eventually earned herself a job as an honorary hacker to test the military’s security.
The testing seemed to have an effect on her strength and she became weaker and weaker until one day she fell down a flight of stairs. A trip to the hospital revealed she had Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy. By the time she turned 17, Ashleigh spent all her time in her wheelchair, and was put on oxygen at night for her heart. Not that it slows her down any. She still continues to work on the lab and learning how to farther develop her computer skills.
Side note: the draw here is based on her CODM self. Her BO2 self has less muscle.
Hello! Here is my BO2/COD Mobile OC, Jamie Engles! There are two versions of her that co-exist together. How? I named an unnamed operator in CODM Jamie, then found out the operator design was from BO2. And that’s how I have two versions!
Enjoy!

General Backstory
The backstory shared by both CODM Jamie and BO2 Jamie.
Born the third child to Josh and Judy Engles, Jamie found growing up to be annoying. While she had a rough and rowdy personality, she enjoyed being with her younger sister more than her older brothers. Jamie hated being forced into the masculine role by her parents and especially didn’t like how they constantly told her she needed to learn how to protect and provide for her future family. At 18, Jamie was forced into the military where she was supposed to learn to “be a man.” It was here she met her future girlfriend, Mira, who helped her realize what the word ‘transgender’ meant. Though she didn’t scrap all her masculine identity, preferring to keep her body and name the same, Jamie quickly adopted her new identity and received loving support from Mira as she became used to the change. She and Mira spent most of their time hanging out in the training room or at a bar.
CODM
Jamie started in military academy then quit when her parents decided to both stop working. Though she would rather watch her parents rot alone, her younger sister was still in their care and so she turned to a different job to earn money. She stumbled across a competition called Isolated, an ongoing Battle Royale game in which competitors must fight one another until one is left. The winner receives money. Jamie entered the competition and was allowed to choose one of the many special technologies the competitors are allowed to choose to earn advantage over one another. She chose a recon drone, which she affectionately named Fred. Jamie competed several times at Isolated and sent whatever money she earned back to her parents.
BO2
Though she wanted to quit the military, Jamie chose to stay and study aviation, where she became a VTOL pilot. She immediately named her assigned VTOL Fred and spends much of her free time cleaning him. Since Fred is one of the bigger VTOLs, Jamie doesn’t see the front of flying formations too often as she typically carries extra supplies for the soldiers on the field. However, if allowed to engage in a fight, anyone with her can expect a bumpy ride as she’s not the least bit afraid to engage in battle.
You've been visited by the random OC question fairy! May your day be filled with cake, friends, and good vibes! 🎉🎈🎂 :D ~☆
What is your character's ideal birthday party? Who would they invite to said party? What food/drinks would be served? What are the decorations like?
Thank you OC fairy! Really appreciate it!
I’m gonna do this for my five main OCs I’ve addressed at one point. The rest will come in time.
Sim MacCallen
There wouldn’t be much to his ideal birthday party. At bare minimum, he’d invite his twin sister, Elise, his best friend Jamie, and the crackhead teenager Ashleigh. Scotch is a favorite drink of his, and if he’s able to obtain it, by golly, he will. He also will eat anything eagerly, particularly bread, and just a slice of bread can be considered a great birthday present for him (he’s very easy to entertain and please). Not much in terms of decorations simply because he’s never really had a birthday with decorations for as long as he can remember, and by the time he hits 33 he can barely care anymore.
Lyudmila Chikova
The 7 year old spawn of Perseus has hardly had a proper birthday either, but she’d want one just like all the other kids she knows with all kinds of decorations: noise makers, balloons, confetti presents, toys, congratulations, ear pulling, singing, cake, candles, and especially, chocolate milk. Anyone can win her heart over with chocolate milk. She’d want to invite Belikov, Perseus, Qasim, and Adler’s entire team, especially Sims because he knows how to throw a good birthday. She might also consider some friends her age, but why do that when you could have walking totem poles to climb on and keep her entertained for days?
Hadessah Mizrahi
Hadessah likes quiet birthdays and would only invite Stitch and Lazar. Stitch, because she was the closest to him during her time with Perseus, and Lazar because they share a history of both being Israeli. Birthdays for her would be pretty laid back, as like the previous two she didn’t really get one growing up and by the time she reaches 22, she doesn’t really care anymore. A few prayers, a few snacks, and a few presents is all she needs. If she’s in Israel, she will go and pray to the Western Wall. Otherwise, she’s willing to take a sip of some liquor and call it good.
Jamie Engles
Jamie doesn’t care. The second youngest of 4 siblings, she pretty much has given up being recognized on her birthday and tends to forget it unless Sim reminds her with a gift, typically a new CD she can stick in her VTOL. Vodka is the only thing she wants on her birthday, though she doesn’t mind the various trinkets people give her if they remember. In the past, Jamie gladly invited her girlfriend, Mira, to a small birthday party inside the VTOL, where they would drink together until they couldn’t talk. Now, with Mira dead, Jamie just drinks alone, only opening up to Sim if she’s feeling extra lonely that day.
Ashleigh
Of these five, Ashleigh is the only one who has managed to have a good birthday thanks to her older sister, Hera, always making sure they had one. It didn’t need decorations, just a lot of time with her sister and any sort of presents tight money could get away with. Ashleigh hates cake, so pie it is on her birthday, given a choice. Lemonade is the choice of drink, though she wouldn’t mind trying a real strong alcoholic beverage. Hera won’t let her, saying 17 isn’t old enough to drink yet.
