i keep thinking about brocnight even while doing other stuff so i guess this is the promised Explanation FAQ Post i said i would make. longish post so theres a readmore which everything is under
im not used to really doing stuff like this but... i cant be the only one to suffer so
The Big Question Nobody Is Asking: Hen, why do you ship Brocnight?
same reasons that people ship or yumeship, i like it, it fulfils me, they look good together, makes my dick hard etc
for me its the added thing of "these two characters were in my top 5 before i finally had a brainwave and decided to just start shipping them because like. whos gonna stop me. i already have a penchant for characters that are less popular so who cares anymore be cringe... be free
General ship notes
theyre reversible to me but midnight is definitely more dominant (not at all because i like huge dudes that are also cute submissive discord kittens. gap moe)
midnight is touchy and broca is avoidant i think thats so funny. i think thats hilarious. broca gets used to it after a while of course and since now midnight is "tied down" hes less annoying towards the women which orchid is very thankful about, although she still finds herself getting pissed off by him anyway (deepcolor makes doujinshi of them or something)
i do hc that the terrans of animal variety have hidden animal features so broca has a stronger sense of smell than midnight does. he likes how midnight smells a lot (besides his cologne which he also likes but less)
in tomolife brocnight got married and had a kid (Popukar) so i think popukar would love training with broca (and broca is both scared and impressed by this tiny girl)
broca is protective over midnight bc he is physically stronger (both in game and like. just look at him) and i also think the hc that midnight is implied to be (somewhat) physically disabled is interesting bc of the way he doesnt really put weight on his left leg and how he uses his sword as a cane in his art/chibi
i think broca is also sort of possessive once he finally warms up to midnight... doesnt really like that midnight flirts with people casually bc thats just the kind of person he is (bar his former job) also perhaps because of being left behind by his former famiglia so he clings on to any relationships he has (including the ones with his gang) while also rejecting or being hesitant about creating new ones. its a little ooc but im trying my hardest here
midnight is older and broca is younger (not by much). the tv tropes article for ak characters changed me... midnight no longer a twink but now a delicious older man 🤤

Broca's base skill is related to Guard skill specialisation, so they can hang out in the training room together (bar the fact that as a 3 star, Midnight can't E2 and thus can't specialise his skill 💔💔💔)
pink and yellow's a good colour combo
both of them have bangs over one eye, and the covered eye is like. flipped on either of them if that makes sense (midnight has his right eye covered while broca has his left eye covered)
they are ALMOST the same height. midnight is shorter by 2cm so the height difference is basically zero and i think a couple with zero height difference is hilarious
tigers are nocturnal and vampires are commonly associated with the night, so they can stay up late together <3
don't think that there's anything else i can add without seeming pedantic... either way i want to develop the relationship more outside of Yaoi of course (my brain does love some Yaoi though)
