Not Yet Sweater Weather | broflxvski
They’d always felt more comfortable around monsters than humans, but this city was mostly full of human or human like beings. As such, the child was restless. They always were, their eyes flicking from place to place, identifying threats. Of course, every once and while, Frisk would notice something strange. One of these things was a kid around their age wandering around in a heavy coat. It was late September. In this weather, they had to be sweltering.
Of course, there were always reasons to wear coats, and Frisk wouldn’t normally bother him, but they figured he might feel more comfortable talking with someone his own age. Maybe he came from a world where the weather changed suddenly, or he was clinging to a memory of home. Regardless, Frisk was more than happy to help him out.
“You know,” they called out as they approached. “It’s way too hot to be wearing a coat like that. You might end up getting sick from the heat. It would be that cold for another few months. Or, er, unless you just react strongly to the cold.”
They never wanted to assume. It could be that he wasn’t human. Who were they to assume? Half the monsters in the underground assumed they were a monster anyway.
