When I tell my roommate that something she says or does is racist, she either laughs, denies, or ignores. What (apart from moving out, which is happening later in the month) do I do?
Tell her to fuck off and keep it moving.
But seriously, unless she's willing to have an open and honest dialogue, you're sort of at an impasse. Perhaps explain in detail why her statements are racist next time an incident happens and if she remains undeterred, disassociate yourself from her. At the end of the day, some folks just refuse to see reason. Hope this was helpful!
