Broken Diamond - Dangerous Assumptions
'course they wouldn't have let him go that easy after what happened. Turns out that trio was very much going rogue from their actual orders. Henchmen being way too cocky and messing everything up? Say it ain't so!
Not much to say on this one on a technical level, other than I had to fill the city area with a lot of NPCs. The Modpack that provides Persona 5 NPCs from the transition scenes made by Mechamobius helped a ton.
Some credit for models here while I figure out how to actually make a pinned post that doesnt' look like crud (And let's be honest, long overdue) which will also have a few fun facts
So, José's model is based off of a character that was uploaded by someone named Wolfie222 called Wolf Jake. It's a pretty good model and in general works very well as a taking off point for most type of anthro male characters. Wolfie also has a female character that's uploaded named Daisy Whitetail, though I've never used that one for female anthro characters. It's still quality and you should check it out
The Wolf Jake base is actually what I use also for Laxley there. I've gotten solid enough at the program that I can get ***wildly*** different results from the same starting point. You can notice some similarities particularly in the Muzzle, but you gotta be really looking for them.
The Horsegal you see is a heavily modified version of a model made by Epicdragon named Rose. I used it primarily because he/she/they have definitely attained one of the best horse head models that I've found publicly available so far, but the body needed a lot of adaptation for the use I wanted to go for.
Alex, believe it or not, is modified from a Scar character made by author egor. Yes, the Scar from the Lion King. I wanted to utilize a different model that had a better feline face, and after multiple failed attempts at getting the bridge of the nose as stubby as necessary I went around looking for models that were publicly available to learn from. Alex now looks *nothing* like the original model but I was able to learn a lot about how to better manipulate the sliders for the head models through the experiment. Also had to replace the ears, eyes, etc.
As for Mayuka and Leo... Entirely original! I used the base Chikarin model for her and the base 3rd head model for Leo. By the time I got to making these two I found myself very able to just make things from base on the fly. It's only Anthro Heads that still give me trouble, and I am forever thankfull that Koikatsu has a community that is constantly sharing their creations to learn and make from.
I'll post more info on any models that come up. For now, gonna probably do some more silly stuff before continuing with story posts
i'm also going to try and find a better tag than 'broken diamond' as it seems it's shared by multiple fandoms. Whoops.
