The smell of the reheated pancakes woke up Akaashi. He kind of had a deja vu. Out of habit he rolled around in the bed and wanted to greet Bokuto, but instead of him, he saw long pale legs standing in front of the kitchen counter, which you could see from the bed. He was confused for a moment, trying to remember why Bokuto had such skinny legs. Then the person turned around and spoke to him.

Do you know of any long creature fics where hermione is the creature?

I have a creature!hermione tag, so if you just search that in the search bar, there are four fic recs that will pop up, and they are (reasonably?) long. Most of those are fics where Hermione is a werewolf, and I haven’t gotten around to rec’ing it yet, but Untamed by Clementine Mack is another favourite WIP with Hermione as a werewolf. Broken Feathers by naarna is also pretty awesome, and very nearly complete, and here Hermione isn’t a werewolf, but a different creature, if you want a bit more variety! It’s currently over 100,000 words, so pretty darn long, too!

“Oh, did you just wake up?” Akaashi didn’t turn around to look at him and didn’t respond. Now Tsukishima looked a bit closer at him. He was pale, and he had dark bags under his eyes. His cheekbones stood more out than usual. “Oi, are you alright?” now Akaashi took his coffee and turned to Tsukishima.

“I didn’t sleep at all.” A weak voice came out of Akaashi’s mouth, almost hoarse.
