After a bit of swearing last night, I was able to eat some pizza to full my brain. Once calmed by calories, I took another look at the problem. The cable had about three inches of overlap, since it had not been cut all at once. This allowed me to wind it all back into a relatively smooth configuration, then buttered some JB Weld on it, let it sit overnight. Filed the opening in the adjuster a bit wider, crossed my fingers. Seems strong enough to hold for a few days until another FedEx arrives from SirLuddite, containing both the clutch cable and the brake cable, just in case! Once those arrive I will head north into 🇨🇦 A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE SKIDMARK GARAGE COMMUNITY!
