Right, so. The awesomeness that is Brokenmordsith tagged me in a game. Rules.
Rule 1: Always post the Rules.
Rule 2: Answer the questions of the person who tagged you and write 11 new ones.
Rule 3: Tag eleven people and link them.
Rule 4: Let them know once you’ve tagged them.
1. If you could master a language in an instant, what would it be?
Portuguese. There are other languages that would be more useful (Cantonese for a start), but Portuguese is really pretty.
2. Tea, coffee, or plain water?
3. Open ending or closed ending?
I want to say "good ending". By which I don't mean happy necessarily, just satisfying. Not everything has to be resolved, but don't leave me shortchanged. For instance, I love the ending of Total Recall (the good one), even though it's open, because the story that it's interested in telling you is finished. Does that make sense? Was that even the question you asked?
4. Multiple choice or essay?
5. Do you complain a lot?
Not too much, no. I let a lot of stuff just wash over me - I think! I have been known to sulk, like.
I am the very model of a modern man on Tumblr,
I've humour deprecating and I couldn't be no humblr,
I'm emotionally sensitive, I've read "The Hunger Games" right through,
I hope that you don't mind that I have never seen a "Doctor Who"...
I do love certain musicals, but not just all that come along,
They need an interesting plot, and possibly a patter song,
"Chess" is very, very good, and "Superstar" I like a lot,
but "Phantom Of The Opera" is frankly just some mawkish rot.
Why the snobby standards? Well, let me give the basic gist:
It happens that my mother had the hots for certain lyricists.
Anything by Sir Tim Rice she absolutely idolised,
(I'm sure I'd heard "Evita" forty times before the age of five)
But despite my musicality, and all my little clever rhymes,
I have never been reblogged more than fifteen fucking times.
But when it comes to deprecation and not being any humblr,
I am the very model of a modern man on Tumblr.
7. Melinda May or Natasha Romanov?
I have to Google both these people. Excuse me...
Ah, right. Black Widow, and the woman from the advert for Agent of SHIELD. Well, it would depend on the context, but: Natasha is awesome.
8. Would you rather kill for power or die for love?
9. If you could change an event in your past, what would it be?
Just one? Hmm. When I was twenty, one of my "friends" betrayed me, pretty badly. Next time I saw him, I listened to his excuses, did the "right" thing, and walked away. If I could change one thing, I'd punch him in his smug face.
10. Introvert or extrovert?
It has taken me a while to realise this, but I'm actually an extrovert - I'm just not very good at it :)
11. What is your best feature?
If I love you, I will keep your secrets to the grave, so help me God.
My questions to the next batch of people?
1. Have you ever invented any OCs?
2. Would the person you are now still be attracted to the one that got away?
3. What's your favourite album?
4. What's the ultimate comfort food?
5. Wayne's World or Bill & Ted?
6. What's your worst habit?
7. Right this second, what do you want most?
8. Which year of your life would you most want to relive?
9. How do you cope with a crush?
10. What movie do you hate that most of your friends love?
11. What colour socks are you wearing?
And now I have to tag people, right? I'm not sure I'm friends with 11 whole people on Tumblr. But we'll try...
