"Thanks, Henry. I definitely needed this." William smiled, sipping some coffee. He hadn't thought of getting more, so this was helpful.

"William, there you are" Henry waved at him with a smile on his face. { brokenxfather }

"Oh, hey Henry! Were you looking for me?" William asked, tilting his head curiously.

Charlie struggles for just a minute to not call out, to say ‘ That’s cheating!’ , as she listens carefully to her father searching below her. Now see she wasn’t technically supposed to be up in the attic by herself; but Charlotte Emily was her father’s daughter in all the best and worst ways and with that came creativity.  She had managed to angle herself juusst right on a chair to pull the ladder down to climb up, making sure to put the chair back before climbing up and pulling the ladder back up with her.

However it did sound like he was trying his best, and he’s papa! If anyone deserves a hide and seek hint it’s papa! And so-

A soft clap from tiny hands.

Oh wait right she’s not supposed to be up here…….is it too late to abort the mission?

"C'mon... With a face like that, how can I resist this chance?" William would tilt his head down to kiss Henry on the cheek.

"Thanks, Henry. I really needed that." William would give a soft smile before he kindly took the coffee from Henry and drank it. He definitely needed that. He was tired and needed a bit of a pick me up.
