Review:
[Plot] Nothing quite unexpected. The turn of Gabby is the thing I always worry about every time I watch a bond/spy movie, so it comes true! As a student who failed in History classes, sorry guys, no comment on the historical background. Clear backgrounds and sufficient time to talk about the main characters (and cutie Uncle Rudi!) but I think more should be done for the villains here, rather than story-telling by Sanders.
[Character-wise] .Henry’s eyes are beautiful, no doubt. However I sincerely thought he would become Superman after he removed his glasses right at the beginning of the movie LOL And Napoleon Solo is simply a BIGGER Neal Caffrey (White Collar) LOL .Armie Hammer is good-looking, no doubt again. When I first saw him in Lone Ranger I was like “Damn how can this guy still be handsome when he was standing right next to Johnny Depp!” Anyway, lovely russian accent and I like the name Illya. Illya is so cute with all those paranoia habits and simple mind. If Illya is Korean, the actor has to be T.O.P (Bigbang). Dumb and handsome, cute and simple. .Alexander is unexpectedly good-looking!!!!!!!He should get a larger part for being the bad guy here!He SHOULD and I NEED IT!!!!! .Hello Professor Moriarty, now the guy who own Solo (okay that’s misleading) .Hugh Grant who was my babe when he was in Maurice.......................So many people stay good-looking till their fifties but why not you Grant...........
.Last but not least cutie Uncle Rudi. Contrasting characters when he was talking with Gabby, controlling the chair and sitting on the chair. Very nicely done. I really like this character and how his life ends (I really really really really really like you~ ♪ )
[the MEN from U.N.C.L.E.] <- this sort of column always comes when the movie poster is with 2 or more men -SCENE 1- Seeing how they fight in the beginning of the movie, it’s like they are meant to be (so wrong). And seriously, I love to see Illya run and catch Solo’s car with Solo seeing how he did that at the same time without shooting him directly like what Gabby suggested. One shall not kill/leave the one who makes you feel surprised! -SCENE 2- I guess the toilet fight is important to talk about, but I think the meeting in the restaurant (i guess?) worth more for me to discuss. To ensure they do not kill each other (or have massive destruction), all the other guests are agents. And when they leave the two to private talks, oh lovely Guy Ritchie. How they try to humiliate each other and fighting with their mouth (I mean fight verbally, not orally, clear?) -SCENE 3- The fashion argument in the shop is the first cute mini daily fight. P.S. Illya did change his bow after Solo commented on his bow-tie in the corridor and throwing trackers to each other. P.S.2 Illya actually kinda like Erik (X-men) LOL The hair, the shirt and the psychological problemssssssss -SCENE 4- When they enter the base of Vinciguerra together separately (my english is good here), it is so funny they each show different strengths. And I can’t stop laughing with Solo saying I pick the top and Illya saying he pick the bottom (they are referring to the door locks). And the good-at-stealing-grand-thief-handsome-solo is definitely stealing SOMETHING MORE in this movie. -SCENE 5- Sure is how they ran away from the Vinciguerra. Illya is so cute and so dumb while Solo is such a jack-ass who enjoy life when seeing Illya sink! (he saved him eventually so....never mind!) -SCENE 6-
Two men taking a small motorcycle back to hotel. For the whole part I keep thinking will Illya pretend to be Solo’s ___ partner who avoid him to reach the phone from Vic (I AM SURE I AM NOT ALONE!! COME ON GUYS!!) See how Illya cared about Solo when he switched on the tracker right after he went back to his room. -SCENE 7-
And that enables Illya to track Solo and save him and continue their mission with all the kick-ass driving scenes. -SCENE 8- The watch of course. Illya is so cute and weak when he cares about someone and so does the someone. The mission? Ex-CIA agent in this gif pretty much tells you the story.
