WHERE: saint’s hospital WITH: Brooke ( @taliwrites ) SUPERHERO VERSE AU
A plan was hatched within the confides of his home for what had seemed like years ago. The waiting game had moved places however, whole countries before it could be put into action. Bade had placed a whole lot of thought and trust into people he didn’t even know, acting the part of the immigrant, running away from home, just looking for another place, a better life. Running towards that sweet sweet revenge, to make sure his brother was going to be held in higher esteem, making sure nobody would forget his name. Even if everyone already had, the names of the “bad” people easily forgotten.
But not to Bade, because Baru had been the most fantastic person alive, his brother, the only one who could bring a smile on the face of their mother. And while his parents had been quick to forget all about Baru, pretending his evil deeds had never existed and he had never existed either, Bade just couldn’t, he believed in their goal, even if he wasn’t so sure why: but Baru had, so Bade did too.
And that was all he wished to think of when the ambulance workers brought him into the hospital. He was still conscious, but his eyes were drifting. Still, through the blood running down his face and the pain in his stomach, he had to refrain from smiling, because he knew who was on call tonight. He knew what he was doing.
“Miss,” he said, voice tainted, as the nurse came to the stretcher, trying to look just as terrible as he felt.
