manet: describe your ultimate summer get-away!
Ok!! For my ULTIMATE summer getaway I would first get all my friends and like go to Disney and universal in Florida and while I’m there I would go to key west for like a week, then I would go to the west coast and go to the Disney over there and like see California and stuff! Then I would get a plane ticket and travel across Europe and just try to see everything!😄🌟

The majority of the things I cherish were my grandparents, all long gone but always these wonderful reminders scattered around the aprtment lol ☺️
Holding onto stuff especially from my Grandmother is really tough because when she died, my two aunts lived nearby and they went through her stuff pretty thoroughly and took everything that wasn’t nailed down. They left me her SHOES. my grandmother was a tiny woman with double narrow feet, like no. So this necklace is my one thing of hers.
Kahlol and Warhol!!!! I adore you and can't wait to read your answers 😘
omg!! Thank you for asking me nobody ever asks me stuff when I reblog these!
Kahlo: (protip/life lesson learned from my past) I want to have something really profound here. Like, some kind of beautiful cliche. But the thing I really have learned and I will never forget as long as I live is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS CHECK THAT YOU’VE SCREWED THE TOPS ON YOUR RUBBER CEMENT. I have wasted so much glue/ rubber cement/ mod podge because I don’t check my caps, not to mention water color tubes and one really expensive jar of blue ink. Check dem caps!
Warhol: I don’t have many things that I keep because I move a lot. I want to say Books? Probably books? But they’re not my heart and soul. I have a bag sitting in front of me now that is full of garnets from this long necklace my grandmother made for me before she died and it broke and I saved them. I haven’t done anything with them, but they’re really precious to me and I want to hang onto them. Also, I have a collection of engagement rings (going on 4 now) from Avery because I am hard on jewelry and I have arthritis so my hands swell up. I would never get rid of them because avery gave them to me. They’re very special.

It’s trueeeeeeeee
you’re such a young babe, miss katy!!!!!!
What are your favorite memories from childhood? Is there anything that cuts through the darkness and just makes you smile no matter what? :)
I’d say that watching Kids in the Hall on Thursday nights, then going over the episode verbatim with friends at the lunch table the next day – that always puts a smile on my face. I was 14 when the show started, and my circle was rabidly into it. They were our Monty Python.Saturdays. I really dug Saturdays. In the eighties, ABC, NBC, and CBS at one time or another had prime time specials that announced the fall lineup of Saturday cartoons, and I’d make my schedule accordingly. I can watch station IDs and show promos from that time on YouTube and get a warm rush of nostalgia. I kept Saturday morning TV in mind into my mid to late twenties; that was when ABC and FOX had the last true cartoon rosters, with ABC’s being the best. I’d say I feel for today’s generation, but they’ve got whatever they want on demand. Man, I’m hearing ABC’s “One Saturday Morning” intro in my head as I type this. Feels good. :DThanks for the question!
