Idk if it's worth the struggle of the first season, but the 100 gets p good in season 2. That's when everything actually goes down and the plot gets interesting. I highly do recommend it tho

Timothicus Erecticus noun : The Timothicus Erecticus is a rare species of mammal that can only be found in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The creature, known by its shorter name Timothy makes nests in the alleyways underneath garbage dumps where they have protection from the weather and predators. A mother Timothy, called a Timistress will give birth to one offspring much like their distant relative, human beings. The offspring will stay with its mother until they reach their Weaboo stage. In this stage of life, the adolescent Timothy will travel across the sea to live in Japan and eventually return to the slums of Philadelphia to keep the cycle going.
The most striking feature of a Timothicus Erecticus is its body which resembles a breed of dog called the Pomeranian. The interesting this about this species is it's nose and mouth are that of a 30 year old African-American man. That characteristic gives it a rather frightening look that they use to ward off unwanted others. The sound they make is also rather frightening. They mimic the voice of Waluigi, mostly taking the laugh of the animated game character. Locals of Philadelphia claim to hear the laugh at around 12 o' clock when the Timothy's and Timistresses get drunk as fuck. They really have a problem.
In conclusion, a Timothicus Erecticus is a rare species who needs all the protection in the world. With only a population of 700 left, and how they are hunted for their unique fur (which is usually hunted for rugs and jackets), makes the number decrease every day.
