Why. Why did you return just to tell me that you’d lost your memories of me. Was it out of spite? Were you hoping that you suddenly distancing yourself from me would prove to be the straw that broke the camel’s back? Judge’s death, Sly’s betrayal, your little revelation... it’s a wonder I didn’t go lost soul from all that happening one after the other.
It’ll take a whole lot more than someone like you to take me down.

“Heh, guilty as charged. Glad to see that you can still recognize your weird step-brother even like this.” Carefully, he shifted his grip on Anubis so he was cradling him with only one arm, something that was a simple matter considering how strong Undyne’s body was and how light his own was.
“But, hey,” His voice dropped in volume, becoming softer around the edges, “you alright? Gonna be honest with you, you look like hell right now and I’m not talking about your... my body.”
[3/29/16, 5:29:13 PM] Glitchy: Also: Anubis making home movies of the court using his camera setup. That is all.
Featuring the muses of @brotherlless @dijudicate @sneakyfont @threeyearshopeful @slyfont @spearsandbones @goingtoberepaired and @fragmentium along with Glitchy.
The computer monitors set up in Anubis’ room were originally used as mere security measures; a way to keep an eye on the human as they made their way through the Underground. Considering he lacked the shortcutting abilities that Sans-es had, he had to find some way to watch over them, after all.
Now, however... Now, they were used as more than that. Sure, he still watched the various camera views on the monitors when Glitchy wasn’t around to interrupt the feed, but he had added on a new purpose for them as well; capturing home movies.
It was no secret that he had gathered up quite a large, odd family of sorts. Having such a big family, when it used to just be him and Sans... It was definitely a nice change... Even if some of the members of said family tended to disagree and fight with others more often than not. Still, he had that fear that all Papyruses seemed to have about being forgotten. He didn’t want to be forgotten, just as he did not want to forget about any members of his family.
So he begun the process of saving special or noteworthy moments that occurred in his camera feeds, storing them away to look back on fondly.
He kept them tucked away in his Sans’ old secret room, a place that seemed to be untouched by the resets. The lock had been changed long ago, so all he needed to do was slip his own personal key into it to enter.
On the counter set into the wall were tapes neatly stacked on top of each other, all with labels and titles to dictate what they contained. Anubis knew each one by heart.
On that one was the time that it snowed heavily over the night and they all banded together the next day in order to clean up the area around the courthouse... Or, well, at least tried to for a short while. It eventually devolved into a snowball fight that somehow turned into rolling Glitchy down a hill in a giant snowball. Say what you like about Undyne, but she certainly made snowball fights interesting.
That tape had a record of one particular karaoke night where they had invited Cyprus over. Poor thing really didn’t expect some of the more... eccentric song choices that some of the court members favored. The alcohol they had hanging around for those nights did seem to help that, however.
One had the time where Sly buried Glitchy beneath as many blankets as he could scrounge up in the house. The little glitch seemed pretty accepting of this until Sly dared him to struggle his way out from under “Blanket Mountain”, going so far as to take a fresh cookie from the kitchen and act like he was going to eat it in front of him. Needless to say, Glitchy managed to escape from Blanket Mountain in record time.
Another contained a training session of sorts that he and Kairos had, but their weapon of choice on that day was the code. They pored over it, pairs of glasses firmly stuck to their skulls as Anubis filled the smaller Papyrus in on the basics that he didn’t know. When they were done with that for the day, they chatted about languages and history for a while.
Many others took place in the kitchen. Sneaky and Anubis cooking together. Judge making a mess and refusing to clean it up, sparking a chase that drew in the whole court to watch. Anubis trying his best to teach Undyne non-destructive methods of cooking. Glitchy snuck some ingredients away to devour in the middle of that one and Undyne knocked the camera over in her haste to catch the little skeleton.
Then, above the tapes, on the wall itself, were photographs, still images of moments he wanted to keep frozen in time.
A picture he stealthily took after Undyne and Glitchy had fallen asleep while watching anime together one time. They had created a nest of pillows and all sorts of awful, unhealthy junk food to relax on, but neither of them knew that both of them tended to become very snuggly when tired. It ended up forming a picture-perfect moment with Glitchy snuggled up against Undyne’s side while one of her arms had draped over his shoulders.
One was him and Sly nestled together on the couch, watching a movie of some sort. He couldn’t remember the movie in question anymore, but that wasn’t the focus of the picture anyway, so it hardly mattered. All that mattered was that the two of them were together.
There was even a photograph he had taken of himself with the court’s resident Gaster. He had approached Anubis with the intent to assist him in photographing events and, after Anubis had calmed down a bit from his fear of Gasters, he agreed and they thought it best to document the occasion with a picture.
So many memories, so many faces, so many people... Except one. One person was missing from all of the photographs and all of the tapes... But that didn’t mean that no record of him existed.
Drawing in a shaky, unnecessary breath, Anubis unlocked a drawer set beneath the counter and opened it. Inside was merely a single picture, nothing else to clutter it.
The photograph depicted him, looking bright and chipper... and missing the blue jacket that he could almost always be found wearing. Instead, it was on the Sans that he had his arms wrapped around, the smaller skeleton looking happy, much happier than many of his doubles. He was smiling that broad grin of his and it actually seemed genuine, free of worries or anxiety.
That wasn’t what really drew Anubis’ attention on the picture however. No, what made his breath catch in his skeletal throat, what made a bright orange tear drip from his socket to splatter on the inside of the drawer, was the words scrawled in the bottom margin of the photograph.
Ever since that particular incident with what he could only assume was his own Gaster, Glitchy had taken to slipping out of the courthouse at times simply to wander about the timeline. It both gave him something to do and got him out of the house where his father could be secretly lurking in any dark spot or shadow cast by a mundane object, watching him be blissfully unaware of his presence. Of course, he didn’t like being watched in general, whether it be by his actual or adopted family, so he tended to steer clear of Anubis’ cameras dotted across the place as well. He had slipped into his room enough times to know where they were stationed and, thus, where to avoid.
After his time spent out for the day, he returned to the courthouse, making a beeline to his room. He hadn’t yet decided what he’d do with the rest of his day. Maybe borrow one of Judge’s science textbooks and flip through that or—
He suddenly froze in place on the way there, gaze falling on a plate of food that had fallen in front of Judge’s door. Well, that was... odd. Judge was usually far neater than that. Oh well, that would be his problem once he had told Nubi that he had apparently refused to clean up after his messes again. Shaking his head and sighing, he instead switched course to Anubis’ room, figuring he was in there watching events on his monitors.
“Hey Nubi,” He called out, making sure he would be loud enough to be heard, “Judge up and dropped some food outside his room and didn’t bother cleaning it up. Just telling you so you don’t think it was me trying to get him into trouble. Oh, and could you tell me when you go chase after him? I wanna have the popcorn ready for—” He cut himself off as he attempted to open the door to Anubis’ room and received only an ominous “click” of a lock performing its job.
That wasn’t right.
Anubis’ door didn’t have a lock on it. He welcomed everyone into his room, even Glitchy himself for a short while to deduce what he wanted before taking it outside so his glitches didn’t affect his computers too badly. Something was wrong. Very wrong.
Left eye flickering with his icy blue magic, he shortcutted into Anubis’ room, easily bypassing the locked door.
(Upupuu~ I was hoping~ Gah do you know how many I want to say BOTH to XDD we can hash out semantics later.)

Glancing down at the other skeleton, he scoffed slightly at the look of pure shock that was on his face. “Why so surprised? You’d think I’d mock someone who happened to be shorter than I was? Well, sorry to let down your expectations, but unlike some people,” There was another pointed look down at that, “I don’t go around mercilessly teasing those who happen to be smaller than I am. I go around mercilessly teasing them for other reasons entirely.”
Despite the clear disapproving bite to his words, the glitch lifted the smaller skeleton up until he was level with his shoulders and scarf, figuring he would be able to find a more comfortable location there if he so chose.
Oh ... and there's a tall. He's quiet, but he tugs lightly at Cyprus before wrapping his arms around the smaller and pulling him into his chest. "Hey there."
[Oh look. Anubis is here.]
[Cyprus lets out a soft sound as he’s shifted around, before turning in the others arms, and snuggling close, his eyes closed against the light in the room. The other skeleton was always a calming presence.]
