a wonderful vintage suitcase stack with fantastic complimenting colors and textures. the vintage suitcases will offer a eclectic and beautiful decor element for your interiors.
the bottom suitcase is a large tweed striped suitcase from the 1940's. the colors are warm vintage hues of a deep caramel, the stripes are combo of burnt orange and a chalkboard black. the leather trim is a chocolate brown and is aged perfectly. the bakelite handle authenticates the vintage look and aging gold/brass colored hardware have a art decor style. the luggage is from the H&M Co. St. Louis and the metal airplane emblem had me at hello! this is wonderful-see pic
the top suitcase is deep embossed leather covering, trimmed is a chocolate brown leather that has earn a wonderful distressing. the hardware is gold/brass and the leather handle is a thick chunky stoic leather. this suitcase pairs up perfectly with the bottom suitcase make it a great looking aesthetic suitcase stack.
measurement:
bottom suitcase-8 1/4" h x 15 1/2" w x 25 1/2"
top suitcase-6 3/4" h x 13 1/4" w x 21" l
condition: overall good vintage condition- the suitcases will show wear and scuffing. the bottom suitcase handle has one loose hardware nail on the right side-the bracket can become unattached from the one nail occasionally when lifted. the handle does not come completely off, it still has one nail securely attached to the suitcase. when this happens the bracket just needs to be fitted back over the nail. this does not affect display option of the suitcases. please see pic the hardware on both suitcases are in good working condition. the interiors are clean and in really good condition.
