It sickens me to see my people, brown people, argue or debate whose racial struggles are worse. Truthfully we’re all viewed the same by non-melanated beings aka WHITE PEOPLE. The oppressor wants us to stay divided and blinded. While we argue with one another they’re uniting. Think about it…Irish, Polish, German && other non-melanated races were all once immigrants to the US however over time they were allowed to assimilate into mainstream white culture because they looked white. In todays world the majority of Americans dont even see divison amongst whites we just see white but we (brown people) do not view ourselves as such. Why? I’m gonna leave this unanswered so you can reason for yourself but think about it. Why do we bash other races to uplift our own rather than seeing the bigger picture which is there are only 2 classifications of people (when it comes to race, origin, whatever you choose to label it as) which is a melanated or non-melanated being.

Sometimes brown folk tell me “I’m not political. I’m not into politics.” Get a grip, you are brown. You living IS political. What little social capital you gain for not standing up for you and yours, to trade THAT for the livelihoods of your brethren means you are exactly the kind of do-nothing-drone the oppressor loves. You are culpable in your people’s oppression. That in and of itself is political.
