One thing I'm seeing being consistently ignored in the MCU is the existence of The Incredible Hulk, the movie from 2008 with Edward Norton. In this movie, Bruce Banner asks an agent from SHIELD (I think, I forget the details) about how is it that they've tracked him. The agent responds that Fury (again, not clear if it's him or not) told them to keep tabs on several individuals, like "John Smith," "Jake Miller," Stephen Strange and Bruce Banner
We've known about Stephen Strange since 2008. SHIELD knows about him. Fury knows about him
Why?
How could they know about Stephen Strange in 2008 if what happens to him is in 2016/2017? Why would they be keeping tabs and tracking a seemingly normal doctor?
